The languages taught in this school besides English are French and two local languages namely  Ga and Twi. This department is responsible for teaching students the various languages offered on campus.

Local Language Department

The local languages Department provides instructions in two main languages which are Ga and Twi.  The curriculum teaches pupils and students to read, write and speak these languages.   Additionally, students learn about the tradition, culture of the tribes who speak these languages.

Foreign Language Department

This Department is responsible for teaching the students the French Language to help them communicate with it effectively and prepare them for national examination.  The French club is very active and has engaged its members in a variety of interesting activities such as Drama, Story-telling, Poetry, Singing,  Excursions and Cooking Contests.   The department has taken part in a number of contests including the Marie French Competition.  The school performed tremendously well.  Because of the efforts of this department, many pupils excel in French at the Basic Education Certificate of Examination.
